Dr. Ridall received her dental degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dentistry. Following graduation, she earned her MS in Oral Biology from SUNY Buffalo, while working in private practice. Dr. Ridall was then awarded an Individual Dental Scientist Award from the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research to support her combined training in Prosthodontics and Biomedical Sciences at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, School of Dentistry and Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. She was awarded her PhD and Certificate in Prosthodontics in 1995.
In addition to private practice, she is a member of the Advisory Board for the Pima Medical Institute Dental Hygiene Program and as a part-time Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics, where she serves as the Coordinator of Implant Programs for predoctoral and graduate programs. Dr. Ridall is very active in providing Continuing Education for Dentists. She is currently on the faculty of the Zimmer Biomet Institute and has worked extensively with numerous implant companies in coordinating educational programs for dental schools and dental study clubs. Dr. Ridall is an avid wildlife and nature photographer and can often be found with her camera at many of the parks around Houston. She is also active in animal rescue and dedicates much of her spare time to helping find forever homes for homeless dogs and cats through activity in WAGS Fund rescue, as well as taking marketing photos for area animal shelters.
Dr. Rosalie Nguyen was born in Fountain Valley, California and relocated to New Orleans, Louisiana when she was nine years old. After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Xavier University of New Orleans, Dr. Nguyen spent time volunteering with youth organizations around the city. She was accepted to the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 2010 and obtained her Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2014.
After graduating from dental school, Dr. Nguyen moved to Houston, Texas to attend the UTHealth at Houston, School of Dentistry where she obtained her Master of Science in Periodontics. During her residency, Dr. Nguyen focused heavily on her research and studied risk factors associated with dental implant failures. Dr. Nguyen graduated from the residency in 2017 and is still at the university as faculty, teaching clinical periodontics to the pre-doctorate students.
In her free time, she enjoys tending to her indoor plants and cooking, a habit she picked up after the pandemic. As an active member of WAGS Fund Rescue, she fosters pets and gets them healthy to be adopted.
Coming from a large family, she enjoys spending time with her cousins and likes to explore the outdoors.
Dr. Nguyen is a board-certified periodontist who holds a dental license in both the state of Texas and Louisiana. She is bilingual and is proficient in English and Vietnamese.
Dr. Nguyen is excited to practice in Houston and is dedicated to bringing quality care and comfort to all her patients.
Dr. Gonzalez is an associate professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics at the University of Texas - School of Dentistry at Houston (UTSD). She received her dental degree from Universidad Veracruzana in Mexico (1996). She worked in private practice for two years and then entered a preceptorship program in prosthodontics at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. In 2002, she completed a residency program in prosthodontics and earned a Master of Science degree in Prosthodontics at the University of Texas - School of Dentistry at Houston. In 2009, she was elected to faculty membership in the Mu Mu Chapter of Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. She is Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics.
Currently, she is assistant program director in the Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics in the Department of Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics and maintains a private practice limited to Prosthodontics.
She is a member of the American College of Prosthodontics, the Society for Color and Appearance in Dentistry and the American Dental Education Association.
During her free time she enjoys travelling around the world and learning about other culture
Dr. Joyce Nazzal moved to Texas in 1999 and obtained her B.S. in Biology from University of Texas – Arlington in 2003. In 2007, Dr. Nazzal earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center Dental Branch in Houston, Texas. She completed a one-year hospital residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center and received a General Practice Residency certification. After practicing general dentistry in Houston for a few years, Dr. Nazzal pursued her passion for endodontics and was accepted to the Indiana University School of Dentistry fellowship program. She completed the two-year endodontics program in 2011 and also received a Master of Science in Dentistry. Dr. Nazzal subsequently returned to Houston, where she has been in private practice for nearly ten years. She is currently a member of the American Dental Association and American Association of Endodontics and she is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics.
Dr. Nazzal maintains a strong commitment to continued education in endodontics. In addition to growing her practice, she is married with two beautiful children and enjoys spending time with her family. She has a passion for the arts, especially oil painting, fitness, and travel.
